How do I recycle my used capsules?
1. Request a free recycling bag with your next online coffee order or pick one up in any Boutique.

3. Choose how to return your recycled capsules to us:
• You can arrange a free collection from your doorstep via Royal Mail. Up to 3 bags can be added per collection and your Postie will bring your label, so there is no need to print one!
• Alternatively, you can drop your recycling off at one of 14,000+ locations, including Royal Mail Post Offices, or delivery offices. Simply generate a QR code to be scanned when you hand over your bags. Click here to find your nearest drop off point.
• Drop your recycling at any of our Nespresso Boutiques across UK and Ireland, free of charge, whenever the Boutiques are open. Visit our store locator to find your closest Nespresso Boutique.
• Podback Kerbside – Available in certain areas. Find out more

I am from the Isle of Man; how can I recycle?
(Currently we are unable to collect recycling from the Isle of Man, however this is something we are looking to be able to do in the future)
What happens to my capsules after I have returned them?
After you have returned your capsules through any of our easy methods, they are sent to our specialist recycling plants, where the coffee is removed from the aluminium. The aluminium is smelted and recycled into new products, such as beverage cans. The coffee is used to create renewable energy and soil improver. Our recycling bags are made from more than 80% recycled content and are also recycled.
Can I have multiple bags collected at once?
Yes, up to 3 bags can be selected per booking. If you have more than 3 bags to recycle, simply repeat the process again.
If you use the Drop-Off Service, please ensure you have a QR code for each bag being handed over. You do not need to print them, they will be emailed to you.

How can I recycle my old coffee machine or Aeroccino?
You can recycle your old coffee machine or milk device at any Nespresso store, free of charge, within 28 days of purchasing a new electrical item from us.
We are not currently accepting any battery powered devices, or other electrical items.
Please ensure the item has been cleaned before it is returned for recycling, cleaning any milk / liquid residue from milk devices, and removing any capsules from coffee machines.
Please return the item in its original packaging, or a similar sized cardboard box.

How has the booking process for Royal Mail recycling services changed?
Our recycling services remain the same - we've improved our Royal Mail booking portal so it's even easier to arrange a recycling collection or drop-off. Visit our recycling portal and see how easy it is to recycle your Nespresso capsules.
I arranged a recycling collection but my Royal Mail representative has not collected my capsules, what do I do?
Please track your recycling collection on the Royal Mail Portal: www.royalmail.com/track-your-item.
If you cannot find your tracking details: Please, check your email confirmation from the Royal Mail or contact Royal Mail Customer Services on: 03457 740740.

How can I change my booking with Royal Mail?
In your Royal Mail Collection – Confirmation email, please follow the ‘view your collection’ link to modify or cancel your booking. When modifying, remember to request the Postie to bring your label so you don’t need to print one!
I didn’t receive a confirmation email when arranging my drop off
If you don't see your confirmation email in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folders. If it's not there, we suggest re-booking your drop-off using an alternate email address. Some professional email settings may quarantine the email due to privacy settings, so we recommend using a personal email address. You can also download the QR directly from the confirmation page.

What is Podback and how can I recycle using this service?
Podback is a coffee pod recycling service. The first of its kind in the UK, Podback was created in partnership with the biggest names in coffee pod systems, Nespresso, Nescafé Dolce Gusto and Tassimo, to give people who enjoy the quality and taste of coffee pods simple and easy ways to recycle them. All aluminium and plastic pods from participating brands are accepted and can be recycled via the Podback programme.
