Selective hand-picking? Double washing? That’s Arabica territory. That’s why Master Origin Mexico with double washed Robusta makes you do a double take. It blends Mexican Arabica and a rare Double Washed Robusta - the producers began with the same approach to their Robusta as they would for Arabica but found it was still not enough. The sticky fruit flesh persistently clung to this Robusta bean so that a single wash wasn’t enough to loosen the hold. So they developed this peerless process of double washing Robusta. Blended with Mexican Arabica it produces a wild and textured cup - full of intense roasted and spiced notes.
Both the Arabicas and Robustas from this coffee come from Mexico. The Robusta go through a particularly interesting double washing processing method.
The Arabica coffee beans are given a medium roast and the uncommon Double Washed Robusta coffee beans get a long and deep roast.
