Master Origin Colombia washed Arabica showcases the farmers’ skill in tweaking the classic washed process to accommodate the exceptionally high altitudes at which their Fair Trade Arabica grows. They pick only the ripe fruit and attentively execute longer fermentation. The reward is a particularly fruity, sweet cup with a juicy acidity and red berry aromas.
This fully washed coffee is sourced in the high-altitude region of Aguadas, in Colombia.
We separate this coffee in 2 batches for roasting. Most of it is given a fast and light roast, and a smaller portion is roasted a little longer and deeper to add complexity to the cup.
This is part of our continued journey towards circularity, going further to minimize waste and maximize the reuse of product materials.
Recycled aluminium requires less energy to produce and it provides the perfect barrier against oxygen, light, and humidity to protect the freshness and aromas of coffee over time.
