Exceptionally Intense & Syrupy
Palermo inspired our long, dark roasting style plus a high Robusta content: hallmarks of this Southern city. At a crossroads of influence from African and Arab traditions, multicultural Palermo made us dream. The result is an exceptionally intense, syrupy, woody and spicy coffee, crowned with very dark, thick crema.
We split roast this blend to bring out the distinct qualities of each coffee. Most of beans get an intense roast to develop bitterness and body, but we give the unwashed Robusta a shorter and lighter roast to bring out some of the finer aromatic notes.
With milk, the roasty, bitter boldness of Kazaar gets a harmonious chocolate and caramel twist.
This is part of our continued journey towards circularity, going further to minimize waste and maximize the reuse of product materials.
